Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

No, at Holmans Creek Farm, we do NOT use growth hormones or steroids in our cattle at any point.
We prioritize the health and well-being of our animals. If a cow falls ill, we provide prompt treatment, which may include antibiotics if deemed necessary for their recovery.
Our cattle are fed a carefully crafted recipe consisting of locally harvested corn silage, hay from our own fields, Brewers grain, corn powder, and trace minerals. They receive fresh mixed feed twice a day, ensuring they get the nutrition they need.
Our cows and calves spend the majority of their lives roaming 92 acres of pasture at Holmans Creek Farm. Bull calves are finished at our grandfather's farm, where they are fed a specialized diet developed by our farm nutritionist.
